Tony: Unless you have the right connections AND the right checkvalve, a spare pump will be of no use.
The Bosch number on the pump will allow you to cross-reference.
Ask a Porsche dealer in your area what the correct number is for your '75, then find out what other years may fit.
To be sure, you need to look at your pump. Does it have banjo-fittings? Or? How is the check valve? Part of the pump? Or seperate?
The way it is mounted is also important; has to be a solid mount.
Another important spare is the 3-prong Bosch CDI module mounted on the left side in the engine compartment. (And a pump relay)
