Well, looks like I
really am a troll. When I first started hanging around here a year or so ago, my plan was to soak up as much knowledge as possible (not in OT
) before buying a 911. My plan & budget was to put me in a decent, if scruffy, SC for about 11k. I was supposed to be in the market right about
NOW.
However, my new bride is going back to school... putting a significant pinch on the Porsche savings fund. Nothing is coming out of the fund, but nothing will be going in for another year or so.
So... gone are my hopes of getting a nice (if well used) 911 and driving it back, breaking down along the way and having to call on Pelicans to point out that I overfilled the oil.
In the meantime, I'm going to put some effort into my dinky sailboat... I have to get a decent trailer for it and finish the interior. As long as I have a project or two I should be ok.
