Yup same thing here, except my car was so ugly many didn't believe the shoe polish. I made a few bucks that way but now realize how crazy and stupid it was. I did enjoy crushing a mint Hemi 'cuda though and have to admit to doing the 0-60 dance more than once in the P-car. I always wondered what kind of idiot would question the dial in time of a full caged car with enough cam and compression to rattle the fenders even at 2000 rpm.

Nowadays I wait for said ricer to get on my butt in the P-car and see if he can follow me around some of my favorite turns, this is typically followed by the sound of screeching tires and the driver struggles to keep his car out of the ditch or guardrail
