A recent column in the State's largest paper, written by the outdoors columnist. There was a game division hearing on the Cougar problem. At this hearing, there was an "animal lover" quoted as saying that one of the prices of living in Oregon is the potential loss of human life to a Cougar. Incredulous! How twisted can thinking become? I wonder of this PETA (or whatever) bozo would think the same if it was her toddler taken from a suburban yard. "Well, she was a cute little thing, but Cougars need to eat, and I can always make another one."
