1. It's very easy to prove if the child is his or not. A simple DNA test will answer that.
2. Even if this woman were to give a signed confession that her intent was to defraud him, he would still be financially responsible to the child. It has been attempted to "offset" the financial damage by suing the woman for fraud or emotional distress but to date no court has ever judged in the favor of the father.
