What you saw is from a 964 Turbo. Those cam towers came on the 3.3 Turbo that came in the '91 and '92 Turbo.

It would probably be possible to adapt the plumbing so the case could feed the cam towers via the chain housings so you you could use all 964 or 993 hardware on a 3.2 case.

You'd just have to run a line from the case to the chain housing, and thread some sort of fitting into the chain housing to accept it.
