I followed the general template that appears in the other thread and made my own. Very easy, if you are inclined.
I used scrap 1/4" sheet aluminum that I got at a recycle yard (was an old road sign). Cost was $7.
Laid out the template on paper and ensured it fit the holes in the car. Cut the aluminum with a jig saw, finished the corners with a hand file and then swirled the aluminum with a wire brush on my drill.
Countersunk the bottom of the plate in 4 places where the battery was to be mounted to the plate and used a set of 4 machine screws, washers and nylon lock washers. I installed in the trucnk with the original bolt. I didn't add a lip to the back of the plate, as the 1/4" fit perfectly.
I know it sounds like a lot of work, but the hardest part was finding the aluminum. Plus, it's nice knowing I actually built something for my car.
