1st/2nd gear went in the 84 a bit ago, car was tapped in the rear 1 year ago. Currently:
Chris Bennet is helping to rebuild the transmission
New clutch just came in
I got the flywheel and rear main seal off yesterday
Pulled the bumper, rear lights and drilled out spot welds on center lens panel.
restoration design panel coming in
found a bad CV boot, need to fix that.
I need to:
Fill wholes in rear cross member
weld in new lens panel
get rear bumper back in
finish up transmission
get flywheel cut and new seal, pilot bearing, clutch back on
get and install left axel
get motor and trans back in
check, adjust...
I'm thinking I may have the car back on the road by the end of the month.
