Any Pelicanites visiting the Glen this weekend? If so, think about an early start. If you weren't aware, they park these exotic and rare cars on main streert during friday afternoon- a photographers utopia. No kidding.Great stuff.This year they feature, applaud, Vic Elford.
Around 4:30 or so, they run all the cars around the original road course. This is a real scene. The cops are trying to control the situation, but the fans and the drivers know why they are there. This is super.
Try to make it. For the past few years my wife and I, being respectible folk in our late 50's, stayed in Corning or Painted Post motels, however, this year we are tenting-it.. Wow- like in the 60's. Ain't life great.
Look for a ''73 blue 914-2.0. Flip me the bird during the parade lap on Saturday, and I'll know you read this thread.
