US taxpayers are not only paying through their Federal taxes, but adding on $700 million plus in donations... it could amount to $35K per Katrina-displaced person.
Too bad they didn't illegally build and move in to the west bank/Gaza, where compensation per [recently-displaced] familiy ranged from $150K to over $400K (and yes, US taxpayers footed part of the bill).
