Hope you are correct but I very much doubt it. The people the Russians are fighting have pledged to go until the death and so far it looks like they mean it. Funny thing is that in the entire BBC report, they do not mention the country or people of Chechnya one time.
Far too many innocent citizens killed in this conflict but then the Russians pretty much leveled Chechnya and killed most everyone there so they feel justified in any reaction.
Sad to see...
