I had my heart set on a 993 in the next few years as the model I would like to purchase.
Well we had Porsche Under the Stars recently in the Founders region and with all the heavy machinery 997's, 996's, 993's, 964's (you get the idea), the car I was most drawn to was this one:
It was just a beautifil machine that is simple. There's no way I could go from a 3.2 to a 2.7, so I was thinking about a 3.6 under the hood.
No racy graphics or attention grabbing exhaust note--just a sleeper body, but when challenged it would rip the doors off most cars.
I guess it all depends if I could find a roller that not a rust bucket. I certainly don't want to take apart a perfectly good classic for this Frankenstein job.
