There is little privacy protection for you now -- and less to come.

The auto manufacturers and insurance companies want a record of where you go and how fast you're driving -- especially in case of an accident. Data logging from a GPS is all part of the plan. Many later OBDII cars already have engine monitor tracking so the manufacturer can read exactly how many revolutions your engine has made over the redline in its service life.
