Through an ODBII interface .. currently other people are working on it.
I will eventually be eliminating the analog dials and controls on our cars, and my ultimate goal is eliminating the Bosh DME ..
Imagine changing things on the fly as you drive ???
Once I get the main bugs and lisencing stuff out of the way, these will be available for the Porsche community ..
As far as the GPS data . I use a standard GPS antenna that splits/duplicates the data stream to many applications .
Currently, You can set a speed limit, but in the works right now, it will know the limit on the road and warn you.
I currently have it set for 60mph. When you hit it, it says " You have exceded the speed limit "
ALSO, to conform with laws in the different states, video images will not be shown while the car is in motion.
When everything is done, it will go for $1500 - $2000 depending on features, which is cheap as GPS units are way expensive, plus all the other stuff adds up rather quickly.
