Yeah, I saw an article not too long ago about how many dinosaurs may have had downy-like feathers -- very short, soft feathers, more like thin fur than like anything else. Given plumage, there's suddenly a realm for coloring, and the days of grey-green lizard-like dinosaur drawings are gone.
