Yes, I've been to Yokohama. Yokohama has the largest chinatown in teh world outside of actual China. The food available there is outstanding. It's easy to find, maybe a few blocks from Yokohama harbor. Also, Yokohama has one of the tallest ferris wheels in the world. I have no idea why it's there, but ride it.

You'll be about 45 min. train ride to Tokyo. If you're interested in culture, you could ride over to downtown Tokyo station (can't remember name, but it's the big central one.) From there you're maybe 10 block from the main Buddhist temple, which is in downtown. It's a large complex, very beautiful.
