Looks like a gasket failure. I'm surpised it took that long for the leak to happen. Same thing happened to me after my rebuild three years ago except there was a pool of tranny fluid under the car the morning after I picked up the car and yes, the engine/tranny had to come back out. The mechanic was pissed (not my mechanic anymore)as he had to pull the engine/tranny to fix a $3.00 mistake.
