I think Wolfowitz was given the World Bank postion because he had miscalculated so badly on the difficulty of stabilizing Iraq and that is how Bush cashiered him.....If U remember LBJ appointed McNamera as head of the World Bank when he wanted to get rid of him... Iraq gives Bush headaches...over the amount of difficulity there and the political capital he has to expend maintaining his position...it's like someone shoved a stick up his @ss so he got rid of the prime cheerleader for Iraq...
