I've been there done that.
My old hood from about 1974 to 1979 when I moved out was 50% to later 90% Arab.
Could not get a job in the Pit (nickname for our hood) - they would only hire their own family.
Could not get a girl there - unless you snuck around and then some.
Could buy beer under-aged, non-fixed prices, different every time.
The day they put their prayers on the loud speakers I knew we lost, and then the churches all closed no more bells on Sunday morning.
Their culture is also a poison, all pretty friendly until they are the majority and you are in the minority.
