The 961(race 959)
This is very interesting, Different stroke than the production car and correlates eith the crank #
EngineEngine Type: Air Cooled Twin Turbo Flat 6
Displacement: 2847 cc......this doesn't jive for a 94mm bore. Should be 2747cc or 2807 with 95mm bore....So info is a little suspect.*****
174 cu. in.
Power: 640 hp @ 8200 rpm
477 kW @ 8200 rpm
Redline: 8200 rpm
Horsepower per Liter: 224.8 hp/L ***nice!
Compression Ratio: 9.1 : 1
Valve Configuration: 4 valves per cylinder
Bore: 94.0 mm
3.7 in
Stroke: 66.0 mm****************
2.6 in
There were other displacements for the 962 of 2.6 liters so thats a possible application as well.
I got these figures from flat6.net btw
