Thread ratings are stupid
Why do we have thread ratings? I think they are worthless.
A minority of the people who post can sway the rating one way or the other. In political discussions, it just becomes a pi$$ing match over whose side you’re on.
And they're completely redundant. You can tell a good thread when 175 people respond. And a lousy one when few or no people respond.
Now go ahead and rate this thread so people know whether or not to read it.
