What I was getting at, is no one seems to care much if their hybrid car takes twice as much energy to produce and lasts half as long. . .and they don't care where the juice to charge the thing comes from either.
Those buyers sport their Hybrids around like the kid with a new action-hero lunch-box. They really don't care if the thermos is ready to crap-out and leak all over their PB&J . . . nope, as long as the other nerds see him w/it, its all good.
btw, Do you have any idea how inefficient . . . how much entropy is introduced into the cycle of charging a battery, expelling the charge thru a motor and to the ground? Embrace entropy, buddy; 'cuz that's what ya got.
