But contrast that to the scene where Helo and Tyrol are informed about the "Cylon Interrogator's" plans - a perfect opportunity to expose some displeasure among the rank and file (which is who I'm talking about, not the XO). Yet they seemed pleased as punch with how things were going - SANCTIONED (by the Admiral, we have to assume) gang rape of the prisoner was right up their alley..
I do think one easy way to get out of the confrontation is to have cylon interference in the nick of time.. But haven't the writers been pretty good about surprises? I remember I sure didn't expect Adama to get shot.
