In Washington State, unemployment benefits would not go to someone in this circumstance. Welfare benefits, maybe. but not the unemployment benefits that employers ultimately pay for. And rightly so. Folks who quit jobs are not entitled to those benefits.

Also wrong, all you have to do is claim you were emotionally unable to continue working there. Stress, intimidation, anything...then the employer must disprove it...... goooooooooood luck.
Edit: Noticed you said "In Washington State" which may be different than Michigan but I doubt thewy would be less "worker" than us.
