Good old William Bennett, high-minded ethicist and neocon darling, has a syndcated radio show... Sunday, he siad this:

... it's true that if you wanted to reduce crime, you could -- if that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down. That would be an impossible, ridiculous, and morally reprehensible thing to do, but your crime rate would go down.

Impossible and ridiculous, but apparently worth mentioning, anyway... So is he now going to fight the likely SC ruling banning abortion?

(edit: Bennett was Reagan's Sec. of Education, sorry. Now, he's just another right wing blowhard and author "Book of Virtues." Apparently racism is a virtue in his world.)
