I think we need to have the Boxter/Cayman 986 Technical Forum be its own entity, mostly because of the common technical issues.

Do I have room in my garage? – you bet! I think the Caymen/Boxter is back to Porsche roots. Fast, mid-engine sport Spyders & coupes. I would hope to see the Supercup with nothing but Cayman RSR. We get to drive the street version.

Look at the progression of 550, RS60, 904, 914-6 and Boxter. That linage is the best of Porsche. At some point our beloved 911 (rear engine) will have to follow the 356C. I think a Boxter-Spyder and a Cayman-GT Coupe are worthy successors.

So, let’s have trucks and 4-doors. How do you want to see Porsche progress? I’ll take a Cayman RS lightweight in a flash.
