Personally I would be more worried about them getting old radioactive materials from hospitals and such. Put that in the middle of a yellow Ryder moving van (where have we seen this before?) and line it with explosives. Make sure its a good windy day and park it 10 miles West of NYC, DC or the like and set the timer.
The resulting dirty bomb would scatter radiation over hundreds of miles and while it would not last that long, the particles would go everywhere including inside our lungs.
Our Govt people are aware of this scenario and are working on it. There are detectors in various places around the country and the larger cities. There are also aircraft flying around "snooping" for this. None of this is classified and I just hope that if some idiot tries it that we stop it before it blows...
