I'll probably get booted off the board for this but I think the time has come (in the next few years anyway) to retire the 911. From the looks of it, the Cayman will just about out perform the 911. The 911 (997) has gotten big and heavy and as for me personally I don't have any real desire to own one. I don't mind Porsche having to go with the water cooled engine, that was inevitable. The 911 today is just a (very fast and capable) luxo GT.
The 356 era bemoaned the loss of that car, eventually the time will come for the 911.
