The Mark I's were for the museum. The Mark VII's were what the ship actually had as fighters.

I thought they were in close solar systems, but not the same solar system. They still jump to get from planet to planet. And they have the "red line" or border between known space and unknown space. Actually, because the ships can jump, they don't have to be anywhere near each other...

5. In the miniseries we see Tigh marking off how many glasses of scotch/whiskey/golden brown fluid he has left. He's got FIVE. Sorry, but this guy would lose the alcholism real fast. He'd run out in a day or two. He didn't discover that they were making moonshine onboard until almost the last episode of this season which is MONTHS later. Did he find a secret stash somewhere?
