I agree with it in principle too. I really think the wording makes it a little too easy to shoot someone.
Here is how I'm interpreting it.
You have a houseguest. You get into an arguement. He throws a glass or a beer bottle at you. You now have the legal right to shoot.
Should prove to be interesting over the next few months anyways..
