With a resume like that, I find it hard to believe that you weren't making some serious cash.

Unfortunately everything here in the theatre industry is contract work. The workshop i was in had only 3 permement workers and everyone else was casual, mostly through a hire company. I was there for 4 years with minimum holidays and no other work in between but you still never knew from week to week what was going on. Those weeks inbetween shows doing clean up and the like were OK for a while but . . . . . Good fun though. I met and worked with some great people. Here in Adelaide, sometimes known as the only cemetary with lights, we dont have the market for "big assed summer homes".
