Dean was a very popular governor, he took heavy hits (temporary) for signing a civil union bill put on his desk - signed it because he felt it was wrong to discriminate against a minority.
He would of made a great president.

Yep, Dean would make a good president ...of vermont. The rest of the country would not urinate on him if he was on fire. What a shrill, mouthpiece! He could not even beat out a loser like Kerry for the nomination...with only democrats voting. If you want to see a really popular democratic governor....it was Zell Miller. His exit polls were much higher than Dean's. Too bad he is too honest to be part of the current democratic party.
