I started to take the engine apart today. Not as hard as I had thought. The little things are what take the time. I bought a engine hoist and a cheap stand last night...do you really need the ring for the stand? the mounts on the stand adjust enough to bolt to the cases. Other than removing the flywheel, I can't see reason to buy the engine ring...Please advise.
