Now, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this type of felonious conduct that which led to Nixon stepping down?

Ok I'll correct you. But first I have to say, I don't know if ANY of what you are writing is true or not. You consistently put things in quotes which are not quotes at all, attempting to mislead people into believing you are accurately reporting what some other source said. I suspect that's why people are ignoring this, they don't feel like fact-checking, and its impossible to tell if this post is just another of your dishonest rants, like "Nagin says whitey blew up the levees."
But assuming what you write is accurate, no, its nothing like Watergate. Nixon was held accountable for what Nixon did, not for what the burglars did. Nixon covered-up CREEP's involvement, as the Republican Impeachment Committee determined.
So unless the actions of these staffers was directed by Schumer, or unless he attempted to cover up their wrongdoing, this is nothing like Watergate. This was wrongdoing by some low level staffers in the campaign office.
