-an out-of-state long-distance car
-that's older (87 vs 88)
-that's a dealer trade-in
-with an unknown owner
-with an unknown maintenance history
-that turned out to need +$3k worth of 'repairs'

and pass up the opportunity for;
-a local car
-that's newer (88 vs 87)
-for sale by the owner
-who is active and known in the porsche community
-with complete service records
-for the same price

and you never even saw the car in person, though it would have been very easy for you to, and now you're slamming it?

seriously, what gives? did you not like the color? or maybe you enjoy doing long-distance purchasing? hmm...
