Guess that's not cheating......that's how I would normaly find things.

Airworthiness..........Classification Experimental

That answers the part which came up.

Part-1:
Glider

Part-2:
A & B: You need to be certified as a glider pilot to fly this thing. You can not fly it with a regular/single engine license.

Part-3:
The glider takes off under it's own power - it can not be towed for launch. You can cut the engine once you are way up there for extra flight time/save gas. However you can cruise a distance with the engine on to find the thermal you want, being selective about it.
