Just spent 2 days in Reno, NV at the lovely Sands Casino.
I'm tellin ya.........it was the most motley lookin' bunch of oddballs I have ever seen. Perhaps it was to be expected....that hotel & all.
1) Grandma with her oxygen tank, & pack of Benson & Hedges
2) Hoods
3) Wife beaters
4) Blackjack dealer was a gal who had a huge black eye
5) Shaky, skinny crack addled women putting nickle after nickle in
Not that I'm normal looking by any means, but talk about culture shock.
Needless to say, they were nice people without the passive/aggressive attitude you get on the Eastside of Seattle (Microsoft area) where I live.
