it is all about the lenses, bodies come and go but your investment in the lenses will last a lifetime.
I am a Nikon owner, I have changed bodies three times in 5 years, but I have 24-2.8/50-1.4/60-2.8Macro/85-1.8/28-200-3.5/80-200-2.8 lenses that have survived the swaps, and the investment in the lenes makes the body look cheap.
