I was born in the south. my father was raised there. To my knowlege, he never used the word 'negro' or 'black' in his life. Only the 'n word.' If a black face came on TV, he'd switch the channel. But if he met an African-american face to face, he would treat them exactly like anyone else.

Never figured that out...

Racism is a mystery to me.
