fuel distributor problems on my new turbo!
ok... so the motor was rebuilt by a shop back home..
the fuel distributor was rebuilt because it wasn’t working properly.. the injectors were "bench tested"
now.. with 2000miles on the car...
I was adjusting the valves and setting the mixture (was real rich) and i had a miss at idle.. a little plug pulling narrowed it down to cyl 4 and 5..
when i cracked the lines(by "I" i mean my mechanic and me...)
cyl 5 had almost no pressure... no "spurt" when the line was cracked... only a minor dribble.. and cyl4 had more pressure then the rest..
when the RPM's are raised above 2200 everything clears up.. # 4 and 5 come back and all is well...
so after a little hard driving #4 works... so im guessing that was a clogged injector..
but what about # 5? the fuel distributor is re-built
i am going to drain my gas tank and see if theres any crap in there...
any other ideas?
