Fan housing question
Hi all
I took my fan/alternator housing out last night due to a problem its wanting to move forward thus grinding into the lower pulley, the fan strap has been tightened so much its almost pulled the captive nut off, I see a hollow pin sticking out off the block but I`m wondering should there be something else in there to lock the fan housing into position? if the answer is no any ideas why this is happening.
