I'll second the french press, cheapo grinder method. Here in western Nova Scotia, we've been using beans from a 'fair trade' place about an hour away. Whenever we're by there, we pick up 4 - 6 pounds of beans French Roast, Jungle Blend and decaf FR. No affilliation, but their website is www.justuscoffee.com, they do orders.
When we're on the road, yeah, its Tim's. Only trouble there is the variation in quality from location to location. Its not the product, just the training and adherance to procedures. Sigh.
