We did good too. I actually got a lot of video. We got the eye here in Jensen Beach and 10 miles North in Port St. Lucie they were stuck in the eye wall.

This has to be the most bizzare weather event I have ever witnessed. At the beginning of this TROPICAL Hurricane the tempurature was 90° after the eye passed and we got the back half of the storm the temp dropped seadily from 90° to 65° it was downright cold out during the last half of this Hurricane.

I took a lot of vdeo footage of all hell breaking loose during the second half of the storm. I lost a lot of fencing and all my plants have been stripped bare of their leaves. I looks like winter here.

I am without power and it isn't looking good for it to return anytime soon.

I have come to the conclusion that most people are IDIOTS. The day after the storm they are lining up for Water, Ice and food. WTF!! How can you not prepare for this?? We knew for a week it was coning and had an entire weekend to prepare.

My neighbor decided to test out their generator AFTER the storm. Unfortunatly they left their gas in it since last year. They do not speak to me unless they want something. Of course thye are speaking to me now. I started up my generator and turn around the the wife is standing right there wanting me to fix their generator. Its so gunked up it will need to be tore down and cleaned out. I let her hook up to my 5000 watt generator to run their fridge, unfortunatly last night they obviously were getting bold and trying to run more and started bogging down my generator. I had to run around and unplug stuff to ease up on it.

This morning I told her to go get it fixed that the Engine repair shop was open yesterday and to get it fixed today. She says its too heavy for her husband and her to lift it. They are younger than my parents and my dad is throwing around his generator like its nothing by himself.

I ended up going to her house picking it up and dropping it off to the repair shop. I have to go pick it up after work and pay for it. I wonder if she will reimburse me?

We are looking at 5-10 dyas without power here. Possibly longer. Most of South Florida is without power. I really needed to get her house off of my 6 year old generator.

Next year? A 25KW Diesel backup generator for the house. Obviously this is a yearly event in Florida.
