Update - I called neighbor up and told her to go pay for and get her generator.

When she got home I unloaded it from her truck and rolled it out back.

She went to get her extension cord and the power came on.......


I am now loading my generator up and take it to an employees home 1st thing in the morning. We are on a 7pm to 7 am curfew here so I could not run it to him this evening.

He did, however take up my offer to go to the office and use the shower and get a warm shower for the first time in 2 days.

24 hours after the storm and the lines for gas, water and ice are amazing. It is truly a marvel how so many people do not plan ahead for these storms. How many ice blocks could you make in your freezer if you knew a week ahead of time about a storm coming?
