I ignored it when it was coming from da hood, and I'll ignore it coming from the trailer. Yeah, it's offensive, but I'm not going to get in anyone's face over it.

funny, in a sad, kitten-in-a-blender way, is seeing the white kids blasting the anti-white rap, or even better, the white chix blasting one of the more misogynistic ditties; there's something tragically funny about a girl sitting in a riced out Honda with the bass turned up to 11 listening to something like "b!tch sucked my dick, I nutted on her face..." Yes, I've actually witnessed something like that (the honda part, not the other stuff)
For the most part, I just ignore it. Each generation feels they have to do something more 'extreme' to shock and 'rebel' against the previous generations. I'm thankful that back in the 80's, we had bad haircuts and androgynous bands - nothing I'm overly embarrased about and that I have to hide for a job interview these days.
It will be interesting to see how the spawn of the hip-hop/tattoo/piercing generation will rebel against their parents. Probably with desk jobs and Mozart.
