It's funny..most of the bashing in the past has been TOWARD the hybrid crowd, not the other way 'round.
Everybody has a point beyond which criticism is no longer acceptable.
I think back to cars like the AC Cobra. I imagine that some of the purists of the day were outraged when Ford V8s were being installed in their "babies"!! Once again, the difference was the depth of the innovator's pockets.
