I did the same last yr. with the no choke deal. Pump the excellerator peddle twice to start. Whith no choke will run rought for a short time,but smothes out shortly. It never will run as smooth as the F.I. unless you change the cam. F.I. cam, are for F.I. . Most of the problems are from 0 to 3,500 RPM's after that it smooths out and runs great. Highest mileage i got this yr. was 39 mpg ,on our flat Mid West roads. Pervious set up was a single two barrel ,mounted in center of engine . That really sucked ( you know what) . I really think unless you intend to rebuild in the future,I.E. change cam. Go back to the F.I. My 2 cent,s Dave
