Please let me know where you think I fit in:

Fiscally conservative, the government should never spend more than it takes in, no matter what. It's just bad business and is in itself a terrible form of Entitlement.

Socially liberal, education is the silver bullet

Overhaul how Congress works and bills are voted on. Any congressman voting must have read the entire bill. From a technology perspective, there must be a solution. Our political leaders must be held accountable for their voting. Slow the process down, no last minute insertions, etc.

I like guns, you should be able to have whatever you want, just be prepared for a thorough background check.

I like the death penalty (for murder and rape)

Would rather see a culture of adoption than one of abortion,

Government should stay out of our personal lives for anyone above the poverty level, people should be trusted with their own personal lives and lifestyles. It is the ultra-rare occasion where a lifestyle has a negative impact on society in general.

I am completely against the welfare system, mainly because it propagates cycles (poverty, need, expectation, abuse) rather than breaks them. The end game is that when you don't work for something, when it's just given to you, you'll never appreciate it, you'll never understand achievement, you'll never learn anything and be able to take those skills to modify them to tackle new challenges. Entitlement programs are poorly designed to make you FEEL like you are one thing, but don't give you the tools to actually BE that thing.

Smaller, high-tech military. Any action we go into should have at least 50% world support through diplomacy, and I'm not talking about Costa Rica on our side.

A future competitive U.S.A is built on:
1. Top-tier education system where students are taught to think creatively and solve problems.

2. A free-of-charge national ultra-high speed broadband network. Everyone should have access to the net to equalize class. Businesses should be passing data at the rate common in Japan, China, that is 60 times our current standard.

3. True transportation energy independence. We need $billions poured into private R&D over the next 5 years to get transportation off the oil addiction. I see this as a "Kennedy walk on the moon" concept.
