I remember reading in some learned journal, the the memory of smell is the most long-lasting. You remember smells better than sight, sound, or taste.
As to the Porsche smell, with air-cooled engines and leather-surfaced interiors, it is a combination of "smoky leather" and thus would be quite appropriate on my Smoky Quartz Metallic 911SC. Not quite the same as an English Gentlemen's Smoking Room in London, but similar.
But Matt, which smell are you referrring to? Like the one on your avatar?
