When my old clutch grenaded I replaced it with the 6 spring 911 clutch. The disc is the stock Sachs unit (no kevlar for me, and since I am just running a 1.7L motor, the power is not the issue.) The only upgrade or change from the 4 spring unit is the clutch disc itself. The rest of the pressure plate and accompanying bits are exactly the same. The literature claims a smoother take-up and feel, and I have to admit, it feels great (certainly no chatter in my daily driver.) Since the extra cost was only about $20.00 I definitely thought that it was worth splurging on my budget.

Good Luck!
